- Government-issued ID – driver’s license, passport, state ID, and green card (front and back photos)
- Business registration documents – any of the following (in PDF):
- A letter or notice issued or stamped by the IRS, such as CP 575 that confirms your Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- A copy of the organization’s Form 8871, 8872, or 990 from the IRS website
- A state-issued certificate of business registration or incorporation
- Your organization’s most recent SEC filing, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, or 8-K
- A business credit report from Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion
- A dated letter requesting verification for a government or public agency, written on official agency letterhead
- Proof of address
- Tax registration documents

How To Complete Advertiser Verification On Google Ads
Go to tools and settings, and under billing, click “Advertiser verification”.
Click “Start verification”
Give information about your business. Just answer the following questions similar to the screenshot below:
Now select your business industry here, if none applies, you can leave it black and click “Save & continue”.
If you got redirected here, continue with “Get started”.\
Here are the full requirements to get verified as a Google Ads advertiser.
Confirm your business name here. Input your organization name, upload any documents in PDF, then click “Next”.
Enter your business address here.
Then, input your business registration number (optional).
Now input your name, select country, select ID type, and upload your ID, front and back.
Now you need to input the address that is the same as your valid ID address.
Once everything is done, your information will be reviewed and it should take a few business days.
Once approved, go back to advertiser verification on your Google Ads account, and you should see the “Your identity has been verified” note.
Now you can take advantage of features that only verified advertisers can add to their campaign ads.
